I don't want to give away the story line. It is apparent the author has experience in this area. The dialogue in her head is just too spot on for someone unfamiliar with this. The story is good. It is jumpy in places. I don't know if this was because I read it in the Kindle version and the transitions were not clearly marked. Also, the author could have benefited from a proofreader. There were a few time where there were duplicate words. I look forward to reading the next installment of this character's life. It will be interesting to see how she blossoms into a more dimensional character. Great job! Keep writing!

I absolutely loved this book! I love to read but it has to get my attention right away. I didn't want it to end so I read the last few chapters slow. I hope there will be a next one with some of the same characters in it! I truly can't wait.
Amazing book by MK Chapin...I am typically a romance reader...This was an exceptional story with just the right amount of steam..I couldn't put the book down.So looking forward to reading more from this author, hopefully a spin off from this book.
Wow, first published book by M.K. Chapin - what a great first book. The author tells a good story and gets the reader involved in the lives of the characters. Good use of foreshadowing with unexpected outcomes at times. MK uses descriptive writing, metaphors, and similes effectively. I can't wait to see what writing techniques she uses in NEXT book. Oh, and Jack . . . yummy! Thank you and congratulations!

Great read about a lady searching for her inner sole to better her life. She goes through a series of trials and tribulations until she finds the strength to prevail. Grabs the readers attention from the first page making it hard to put down. I continued reading it every chance I got until I was finished. If you enjoy the ups and downs of emotional relationships, this is the book for you!
